About

The Re-Seasoning Coalition (TRSC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the representation and propelling the advancement of Black Canadians across all levels of the foodservice industry through research, programming, and community engagement.

The Re-Seasoning Coalition participants — including independent operators, chain restaurants, suppliers, and businesses in between — will receive tailored support in reconstructing their organizations to become the best in-class companies of the future.

Join the Coalition

The mission of The Re-Seasoning Coalition is to increase the representation and propel the advancement of Black Canadians at all levels of the foodservice industry through research, programing, and community engagement. We aim to continually ‘re-season’ the industry to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to reach their full potential.

We value:
Community – We work to build a sense of support and belonging and will seize opportunities to amplify and address the lived experiences of those in the industry.

Equity – We advocate for and develop programs and opportunities that are grounded in fairness and continuous learning.

Innovation – We aim to be at the forefront of equity and anti-racism solutions by designing with a people-first and future- forward approach.

Expertise – We lead with goals, strategies,
and initiatives informed by expert opinions, validated research, and personal perspectives.
